Commitment, Pride and Opportunity

What do we mean by that? These are the pillars that help us cultivate a successful baseball environment.

We expect a full commitment from every player that comes through our academy. A commitment to strive, work, and play at his or her highest abilities. To put forth their biggest efforts to practice, drills, plays, and hustle. In-turn, we are also entirely committed to the success and improvement of every player that we work with, no matter the talent level, our commitment is to unlock their full potential.

Pride, a feeling or deep pleasure derived from one's own achievements and the achievements of those with whom one is closely associated with. Pride for oneself and pride for the team. Pride for how we present ourselves, how we win, how we lose, how we run on and off the field, but also how we portray our emotions. How we carry ourselves and how we approach the grind of the game. We believe pride is an intricate, unspoken, but very visible part of this game and understand with pride also comes unmatchable results.

Opportunity for all. We believe a team is only as good as its weakest player. We also understand every player progresses at a different rate, those that are successful at an early level may not excel as the game expands and many late bloomers grow into key players that exceed everyone's expectations. We are committed to providing players the opportunities and training needed to unlock each player's full potential.

If you think about it baseball is a huge game of failure. Great hitters are successful 30% of the time. In reality, it means they FAIL 70% of the time. That is where perseverance comes in. A continued effort to do or achieve something despite difficulties, failure, or opposition. Perseverance is what separates those that find success and those that never achieve their potential.
